I love you Mommy!!! I hope you know how much you are loved, I hope you’re smiling right now just seeing how many you of us miss you. You were so impactful in Many peoples lives, such an inspiration. Although you were My Mom, you were also a Mom to many others! There’s not enough words to express what you mean to me, I just can’t believe you’re gone, it just doesn’t feel real. How will I navigate through life without you?? You were my navigation. You were my safe place where I could always land and feel so safe and loved. Your heart was pure GOLD, I’m certain that aside from God, I’ll never have anyone love me the way you did! Please guide me through life, and watch over us all. I’m gonna try and stay strong and take care of Cameron and Carter, because I know that’s what you would want…to take care of your babies!! I love you, and I will see you soon. Love, your Love Bucket!!

Sending my love and prayers to Vick and all of the beautiful family. God has welcomed a classy assistant coach into heaven right now! Marcia was THE BEST at that role! I loved our days coaching volleyball together! I smile thinking of the memories and what lingers is her love for her husband and family, her silliness (and that of her beautiful children especially Sydnei dancing in the rain!), her loyalty and love, and her kindness. She was always strong, yet gentle; nurturing yet demanding; insightful and intelligent. Marcia was unselfish and caring. The glow on her face and the twinkle in her eye would often signal mischievous and orneriness, and make me and all others smile! It would also signal a new idea or insight to make us better. But even deeper, it always shined a message of love and kindness. God is very fortunate to have her as an assistant coach. I am very confident that she will be noticing adjustments that need to be made in our performances and get the message to us one way or another. She will be reminding us of the fundamental skills we are forgetting to help us get better. She will always be there for her team and also help us remember to dance in the rain!! Love to you, Vick, Evan, Courtney, Kyle and Sydnei!!

I am so sorry about Marcia’s passing. I taught school with her at Wyandotte High School and at Central Junior High School. She was an excellent teacher and the best colleague anyone could ask for. She loved her family and talked about her children all the time. I saw her about a year ago in Hen House and we talked a long time. It was so wonderful to spend time reminiscing with her. My love goes out to Vic and all of the family. I will pray for peace and comfort for all of the family. Blessings on all of you.

I’m expressing my condolences to your family. I’m a friend of Marilyn and was blessed to meet Marci when I was in K.C. Because of scheduling, our opportunity to meet was with several conversations and a face time meeting. I felt such a connection, we continued communicating, mostly through Marilyn, after I returned to Oakland. I told Marilyn, I wanted be another sister. I admired Marci’s strength, faith and love for life and family.

Here is it October 25 and I’m just now reading that Ms. Cooper passed away. I remember her kind spirit from my basketball days in high school. We laughed and joked around so many times before and after practice. To her family, I am so sorry for your loss. She was a very special teacher and coach. She always remained in my heart so hearing she had passed away confirmed how special she was to me. May God bless you all as I’m sure you are still grieving and remembering the life she lived.
