In memory of Scintila De Guzman Capalla Scintila, passed away in her childhood home in Bonner Springs, KS Sunday July 26, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. She was 24 years old. She is survived by her parents Jose and Connie, siblings Xavier, Akiko, Judah, grandma Doreen, boyfriend Chul, extended family and friends. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday 3 pm, September 15, 2018 at Larkin and Garcia Funeral Care,1844 Minnesota Ave., KCK

    I am one of the JCCC Lifetime Fitness Center Instructors. I met Scintila not that long ago in the JCCC Lifetime Fitness Center. I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to know her. Even in the short time I could tell she was a beautiful young lady inside and out. She such a joy to of of us with her presence here. Bless to all of the family and friends in this difficult time.

    I knew Scintila at KCKCC. She had a beautiful singing voice. My husband, Paul, and I got to know her better during a trip to Japan. She was an amazing young woman. May God comfort her family during this time of grief.
