Monserat (Monsé) Arenas

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Monserat (Monsé) Arenas on October 2, 2024, after a courageous battle with Endometrial Uterine Cancer. Born on April 30, 1967, in Los Angeles, CA, Monsé filled her 57 years with love, laughter and an underlying spirit that inspired us all.

Monsé was known not only for her dedication and hard work, but also for her kindness and genuine care for those around. She had an extraordinary ability to brighten the lives of people with her infectious smile and compassionate nature. Monsé found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Nurturing her soul through movies, music, baking and cooking. She shared her abundant zest for life, creativity and warmth with family and friends.

Left to cherish the memories of her limitless love and infectious humor are her Fiancé, Frank, her beloved mother, Margarita, brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces.

Our hearts are dimmer without our dear Monsé’s laughter and warmth. Her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.

To honor Monsé’s life, we invite family and friends to join us for a Memorial Service on Friday, October 18th, from 3pm to 5pm at Larkin and Garcia Funeral Home, located at 1844 Minnesota Ave, Kansas City, KS 66102.

Monsé’s memory continues to inspire hope and happiness in all who loved her. Her presence remains eternal in the hearts she touched, and her life stands as a testament to the power of love and resilience.
