Robert “Bubby” Tichenor

Visitation for Robert "Bubby" Ronald Tichenor 32, Kansas City, KS will be 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. with a service at 2 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2018, at Larkin & Garcia Funeral Care. Private Burial will be at Bonner Springs Cemetery Tuesday September 25, 2018. Bubby died September 19, 2018 at KU Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born July 12, 1986 in Lawrence, KS the son of Robert Dale Tichenor and Bonnie Lynne Tichenor. Bubby was one of the kindest people one could ever meet. He was always a friendly person. Many times, after work even though he was tired, he would play football with his children and the kids in the neighborhood. He treated all the kids like there were his own. He was always so good to his family. He took care of the groceries, bills, maintenance, and somehow, he always found time to take his family to the park. He always was the person to make everyone laugh. Bubby is survived by Tracy Nichole Lewis. Other survivors include a daughter Aubree Tichenor, three sons, Austin, Aden and Aaron Tichenor; parents, Robert Dale Tichenor, Mellisa Eileen Foist and Nannette Tichenor; sibling, Erie, Josh Vanderpohl, Josh Tichenor, Jessica Tomas, MO, Kearie Parsley, ID, Amada Vanover, ID, Lindsay Vanderpohl, ID; grandparents, Vivian Koldyke, Dale and Faye Tichenor. He is preceded in death by Bonnie Lynn Foga-Koldyke and grandpa Ronald Koldyke.
