Allen Wayne Fales

Allen Wayne Fales, 68, was born in Iowa City, Iowa to Donald Fales and Neva Thomas on September 24, 1952. He was called to heaven on February 9, 2021 to be with his wife Dorothy Cornett, his father Donald Fales and his Grandma and Grandpa Fales. He leaves 3 daughters: Shannon, Ashley, and Jessica. "Papa" had 4 grandbabies he also leaves: Allen, Mackenzie, Julian and Ariana. Al had many friends and made them always feel like family. Many stories we will cherish all our lives. He lived in many places and made an impact on many people. However, he hade his home in Kansas City, Kansas where he married the love of his life Dorothy and raised his daughters and grandbabies. Al was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed his career. He hauled many things from cars and boats to the street we drive on. He retired at 58 and started his new career as a full-time "Papa". Al was a very proud "Papa" and his grandbabies were everything to him. He spent his days teaching his grandbabies and being a kid at heart. In the moments without the grandbabies, he enjoyed time with his girls and family and friends. Al was a happy man even on his darker days. He was always there for anyone that needed him. Al always knew what to do and looked at the brighter side of things. Al had a positive vibe all together. For that he will always be in our hearts and will be deeply missed.
