Bobby Joe Fennix Sr.

Brother Bobby Joe Fennix Sr. was born on June 15, 1957 to Gertrude Kite Fennix and Jeff Fennix in Pineville, Louisiana at Charity Hospital. On June 16, 2024 at Olathe Medical Hospital, Bobby departed his life at the age of 67.

Brother Bobby was baptized at an early age. He was a member of the New Birth Christian Center for over 25 years, where he served on the Deacon Board, sang on the Praise Team and taught Sunday School on first Sunday.

Brother Bobby worked for Sam’s Club and Walmart for the sum of 20 years.

Brother Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude & Jeff Fennix; Son, Kenneth Wayne Fennix; 2 sisters, Gloria Dean Hampton-Rhyans and Mary Helen Clark.

Brother Bobby leaves to cherish his memory daughters, Yolanda Allen and Veronica Turner; sons, Bobby Joe Fennix Jr and Robert Jeff Phoenix; brothers, Charlie “Papa” Fennix, Jeff Lewis Phoenix, Jimmy Phoenix, Charles Junior Phoenix, Calvin Douglas Phoenix all of Kansas City, KS; sisters, Rebecca Phoenix and Janet Phoenix of Texas and Deborah Jones of Louisiana; 13 grand-children and a host of nieces and nephews.
