Funeral Service for Celerino Cortez-Jimenez, 83, Kansas City, KS, will be Saturday, February 2nd, 2019 at 10 A.M at Larkin & Garcia Funeral Care and burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City, KS. Celerino passed away Thursday, January 24th, 2019 at KU Medical in Kansas City, KS. He was born February 3rd, 1935, in Michoacán, Mexico, son of Jesus Cortez and Catarina Jimenez-Reynaga. Celerino was a Christian man, he dedicated most of his life in helping others as much as he could. He accepted Christ at a young age and followed his path always until his last breath. Celerino fue un hombre Cristiano, el dedico la mayoría de su vida en ayudar a los demás. Él aceptó a Cristo cuando era joven y siguió sus enseñanzas hasta sus ultimos días. Cortes, Lenexa, Gilbert Cortes, Overland Park, and Norma Navarro, Blue Springs; grandchildren, Giovanni Cortez, Catherine Cortez, KCK, Gerson Cortez, KCK , Joyce Cortes, Lenexa, Gilbert Cortes Jr., Lancy Cortes, Nicole Cortes, Salomon Coronado, Eshban Coronado, Natanael Coronado, Norma M. Navarro and Steicy Navarro, Blue Springs Visitation will be Friday, February 1st, 2018 from 6pm to 9pm at Larkin & Garcia Funeral Care.
