Eduardo Jose Meza Flores

Eduardo Jose Meza Flores, 38, passed away on September 25, 2021, in Kansas City, Mo. He was born in Choluteca, Choluteca, Honduras on December 1, 1982, to Eduardo Meza and Ermelinda Flores. Eduardo, who was nicknamed "Basura," will be remembered for his devotion to his family and passion for Major League Soccer team Sporting Kansas City. He was married to Kathleen Bracero on September 28, 2007. For him, there was no sadness; there was always a solution to every issue. He consistently cared for his family and wanted them united. He lovingly prioritized his parents and children. Eduardo‘s happy and caring personality and his love of music, dancing, food, f&uacutetbol, and having a great time drew many people to love him. As a member of the Cauldron and La Barra soccer supporters' groups, he exuberantly played percussion to help lead fans in cheering on their team. Eduardo was preceded in death by his brother, Jorge Mendoza Guevara. He leaves behind three children to cherish his memory: Marcos, Angelo, and Emma. He is also survived by his parents of Choluteca, Honduras; sisters, Suyapa Guevara, of Choluteca, Honduras, Norma Minero, of Kansas City, Mo., and Blanca Meza Flores (César O. López Méndez), of Choluteca, Honduras; and several nieces and nephews. Eduardo will be remembered by his many friends and loved ones, especially Mayra López and Arleni Ocampo. Services are at Larkin & Garcia Funeral Care, 1814 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan., on Saturday, October 2, 2021, with Visitation from 10 a.m. to noon, and Services at noon. Burial will immediately follow at Mount Washington Cemetery, 614 S. Brookside Ave., Independence, Mo.
