Espiridion G. Moran, Jr.

March 25, 1957 — November 28, 2020

Espiridion" Speedy" G. Moran Jr. passed away November 28th, 2020. Speedy lived in Fairway, KS with his family. He was born March 25, 1957 in Donna, Texas to Espiridion Moran Sr. and Soledad G. Moran. Espiridion graduated from Wyandotte High School and earned his bachelor's degree at Donnelly College. Speedy married the love of his life, the late Pauline Moran and had 1 child. Speedy worked in Retail Management for many years: Ventures, Montgomery Ward's, Kmart, Dick's Sporting Goods and most recently Kohls. Espiridion loved his family dearly and cherished his faith. He spent most of his time with his daughter and 2 grandsons but also enjoyed spending time with his siblings watching sports, especially his Kansas City Chiefs. He was always ready to give a helping hand; all you had to was ask. Espiridion was always the first to arrive at gatherings, usually arriving up to an hour early, and was always teased for being extra early but was also appreciated for it because he would always help with any last-minute details. Jr., as he was known to his siblings, would always correct them that his name was Espiridion. Espiridion later became known as Speedy because most people could not pronounce his name. Jr. was loved very much by his family and will be deeply missed. Espiridion is preceded in death by his wife Pauline A. Moran, brother Arturo "Art" Moran Sr, brother-in-law Porfirio Raya Sr, and sister-in-law Antoinette Moran. Espiridion is survived by his daughter Teresa Moran, grandsons Ayden and Alijah. He is also survived by his parents. and siblings Frank Moran Sr., Joe Luis Moran, Torey Moran (Elizabeth), Melba Moran, Norma Raya, Jose Osbaldo Moran, Ramiro Moran (Maria Cecelia), Jose Armando Moran (Susan), Anthony "Tony" Moran (Lisa). As well as many nieces and nephews. The visitation will be at Larkin & Garcia on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 10a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with the service immediately following. Burial at Edwardsville Cemetery in Edwardsville, KS.
