Estaben Leon Rea

Estaben Leon Rea of Kansas City KS, 60 years of age, born July 24,1960, passed away on April 26,2021, in the presence of his family at KU Hospital. Estaben graduated from Lillis HS. He was employed by Deluxe Checking for many years. He had many hobbies that include fishing with his nephews and brothers, tinkering on lanterns, reloading ammunition, road trips to visit family in Humboldt, Kansas, celebrating the 4th of July (lighting the loud fireworks) and Halloween. He was a fan of the KC Royals and KC Chiefs, sending random goofy texts and FB messages to family and friends, popping stove-top popcorn and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Throughout his life he had many dogs and cats that he loved and talked about. He was preceded in death by his parents Venancio and Elvira Rea, his brother Venancio (Junior) Rea Jr., sister-in-law Marie Rea (Crispin Sr) and many loved Uncles and Aunts. He is survived by his brothers Enrique Rea and Crispin Rea Sr, his Aunt Antonia Diaz. Also, his nieces Veronica Galvan (Christopher), Rebecca Sanchez (Jose), Sophia Rea, and nephews Anthony Rea, Venanio Rea III, Crispin Rea Jr (Emma), great-nieces Leigha & Hannah Zank, Alycia Rea, Sadie Sanchez and great nephews Angelo Rea and Jose Sanchez and many cousins. Celebration of Life will take place at Larkin & Garcia Funeral Care on May 3,2021 with the viewing starting at 9:00 a.m., rosary at 11:00 a.m., follwed by a funeral at 12:00 p.m.,then proceed to his resting place at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
