Freddie Anthony Garcia

Services for Freddie Anthony Garcia, 69, Kansas City, will be at 2p.m. June 14th, at Larkin & Garcia Funeral Care. Burial will be at a later date. Mr. Garcia died May 28th, 2018 at KU Med. He was born May 10th, 1949 in Kansas City, KS the son of Ricardo Balagues and Audrey Campoz Garica. Freddie was known for being very laid back and free spirited. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Those who knew him could testify that others came before himself, friends or strangers and believed it was his personal duty that everyone around him was smiling. His style, his humor and his comforting aura are only a few qualities that we will forever remember. Freddie enjoyed listening to Rock-n-Roll like Santana and Los Lonely Boys. He had a huge heart and embraced everyone. He was known to be the life of the party. Other survivors include The mother of his children Phyllis Rodriquez, three daughters, Maria Robles and Ruben, KCK, Laurie Rodriquez-Araiza and Gustavo, KCK, and Antonette Marie Rodriquez, KCK; one son Gregory Ochoa, KCK; and 16 grandchildren. The family suggests memorial contributions may be in his name for the funeral expense and sent in care of the Funeral Home.
