John Andrew Garcia Sr.,60, passed in Kansas City, Kansas on December 29th, 2023. Services entrusted to Larkin & Garcia Funeral Care.

John A. Garcia Sr.,60, was born in Kansas City, Missouri to his parents Ignacio and Mary Garcia. John spent his childhood in Kansas City, Missouri and later relocated across the river to Kansas City, Kansas. John was blessed with three children, John Garcia Jr., Joseph Garcia, and Liza Graham, all of whom he loved. John was a simple, dedicated, and hard-working man that, in his younger years, enjoyed pitching alongside his father and brothers in the Men’s Fast-Pitch Softball League. Whenever he wasn’t out on the field John enjoyed being at the lake camping and fishing. If he wasn’t outdoors, John spent his free time fixing anything he could as he had a natural handy man knack. His hobby turned into him designing and building indoor wood pieces such as end tables, cabinets, and other home décor items. John’s adventurous spirit will be missed by all that loved him.

John was preceded in death by his mother Mary E. Garcia and brother Ignacio Garcia Jr.

John is survived by his father Ignacio Garcia Sr.; Brother, Jesse E. Garcia; Sister, Linda Garcia-Ramirez (Mark), sister-in-law, Cynthia, his children, 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and a handful of nieces and nephews.
