Joseph Brian Escareno, 51, of Kansas City, Missouri, died on February 3rd, 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.
Visitation and the prayer of the rosary will be on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 9:00am-10:00am at Sacred Heart/Our Lady of Guadalupe Church located at 2544 Madison Ave, Kansas City, Missouri. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 10:00am. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1150 N 38th St, Kansas City, KS 66102 at 11:30am.
Brian was born on July 25, 1973, to Jose and Micaela Escareno (Garcia). Brian was born, raised and lived his whole life on the Westside of Kansas City, Missouri.
Brian was a graduate of St. Pius X High School located in North Kansas City, Missouri. He was also a graduate of Concord College where he received his degree as a Medical Assistant. Brian loved to cook all the time and loved to make enchiladas with his aunt, Carmen Williams. He worked part-time at El Taquito Manufacturing Plant in Kansas City, Kansas and worked at a podiatrist office at North Kansas City Hospital.
Brian was preceded in death by his uncles, Manuel, Jesse, Anthony, Paul and Benjamin all from the Escareno family; aunts, Carmella, Mary, Roberta from the Garcia family; Phillip (Beaver), Louis, Toby Jr., Ricardo, Anthony T., Pedro Louis from the Garcia family.
Brian is survived by his parents, Jose and Micaela Escareno; brother, Jason Escareno (Connie Alaniz); Brian’s children’s mother, Gina Coronado and their loving sons, Brian Anthony, Jake, Cruz, Luca and Milo Escareno; aunts, Carmen Williams, Godmother, Christina Valdivia, Angel (Patricia) Garcia of Olathe, Kansas and Guadalupe Alfredo (Linda) Garcia of Kansas City, Missouri.
Brian will be missed by all. He was a good, kind and generous person and father. He leaves many close friends and cousins to cherish his memory.
