"Juju" to his mother and those that loved him, was born on January 11, 2001. The son of Hector Ponce and Jacklyn Frank. He and his mother grew up together in Kansas City, Kansas and they taught each other how to live their best lives. Julian was a bright young man, had a smile that couldn't be ignored and alwasys a kind word for those around him. He loved all animals, was a very caring person, definitely a joker and took each obstacle in stride in his good natured way. If you had the pleasure of knowing him, you know he was a very loyal friend, just ask his TA Edison boys! Julian was a good student and athlete. He excelled in wrestling at Rosedale Middle School, going undefeated. His son, Nathan was born when Julian was 16. He was a great dad who took an active role in parenting. He was very mechanically inclined and worked while attending school to support his son. With his drive and determinaion he earned his High School Diploma from J.C. Harmon in 2019. Julian passed on March 2, 2020. Although he was only with us for 19 years, he touhed so many lives. He will be dearly missed by his son- Nathan, mom- Jackie, grandparents- Karen Frank, Gary Frank, sisters- Haley, Jazmin, and Layla, step dad- Ziad Musallet as well as countless family and friends. At this time, we should be kind to each other and smile, that's what Julian would want us to do! The viewing for Julian will be held at Larkin & Garcia Funeral Care on Monday, March 9, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with services starting at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
