Services for Leovardo Moreno Jr., 22, of Overland Park, will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2019 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 11300 W. 103rd Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66214. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Kansas City Kansas. Leovardo passed away August 25, 2019 in Kansas City, Missouri. Leovardo was born November 22, 1996, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Leovardo Sr. and Maria De Jesus Jimenez Moreno. Leovardo was a Delivery Driver for Amazon and a former Civilian Specialist for the Johnson County Sheriff's Office. His most important job was being Tio Boogie to his nephews. Leovardo is survived by his siblings; Elisa Moreno, Adrianna Hernandez, Mia Moreno Cresencio (Esai) Moreno and his fiancé Trinity Rosberg, maternal grandmother, Ignacia Jimenez, nieces and nephews; Alex Gonzalez Jr., Rico Gonzalez, Araceli Gonzalez, Julio Moreno and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. Leovardo was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Cresencio and Maria Moreno, maternal grandfather, Manuel Jimenez, great-grandmother, Virginia Hernandez De Mejia and great-grandfather, Luis R. Mejia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ~ 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Overland Park with a Rosary Recitation starting at 5:00 p.m.
