Marcia H. Cooper

Marcia H. Cooper passed on July 24, 2020 surrounded by family. Marcia was born In Chandler, Oklahoma on January 24, 1950 to Evelyn and Sammy Sharp, who preceded her in death. She attended College of the Ozarks in Clarksville, AR and Central State University in Edmund, OK where she received a Master's degree in Library Science. She worked for the KCK School District for 34 years before she retired. She also worked at the Kansas City, Mo School District for 6 years. Marcia married Vick Cooper and to that union 4 children were born. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, reading and music. She especially loved her grandchildren. She leaves to mourn her passing and celebrate her memories: her husband of 47 years, Vick Cooper; her children, Evan (Alejandra) Cooper of Kansas City, KS, Courtney Cooper of Kansas City, MO, Kyle (Molly) Cooper of Shawnee, KS, Sydnei Cooper of Merriam, KS; one brother, Kevin Sharp of Edmond, OK; one sister, Marilyn Adkinson of Oakland, CA; 9 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
