Maria Luisa Juarez de Santiago- Obituary March 17, 1968 – February 13, 2025

Maria Luisa Juarez de Santiago, 56, of San Miguel De Allende, Guanajuato, passed away peacefully in Kansas City, Kansas. Born to Celia Chavez and Jose Jesus Juarez, Maria was a devoted mother and grandmother who touched the lives of many.

She is survived by her three children: Maria Teresa Soria, Luz Maria Guevara, and Nicolas Daniel Santiago, as well as her cherished six grandchildren. Maria grew up in Juarez, Mexico, surrounded by her loving family. At the age of 17, she moved to the United States in search of better opportunities for herself and her family, eventually spending nearly forty years there.

In 2002, Maria met her late husband, Nicolas Santiago Angeles, at Laura’s Restaurant, where she worked as a waitress. Their love story began with a playful pursuit, as Nicolas fondly recalled Maria “playing hard to get.” They were married on March 29, 2002. Sadly, Nicolas passed away on June 22, 2022. Together, they welcomed their son, Nicolas Daniel, on July 10, 2006.

Maria had a passion for knitting and crocheting, often using her talents to create beautiful gifts for loved ones. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family, filling their lives with love and laughter.

Maria will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her.
