Mary "Maggie" Magaline Carroll

Mary “Maggie” Magaline Carroll (82), a longtime resident of Independence, Missouri, passed away on February 20, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at Overland Park Regional Hospital.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Donald Carroll; three devoted children, Allen Bennett, Melinda Monteer, and Michael Callahan (wife Ella); Stepchildren, Sheila Carroll, Donald Ray Carroll Jr, Scott Carroll, Chucky Carroll, and Cindy Carroll; Brother, Archie Ayers and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her Father John Ayers; Mother, Essie Ayers; Son, Mark Callahan; Sister, Georgie Ann.

Maggie will be dearly missed by all her loved ones. Maggie’s family would like to thank everyone who has reached out during these difficult times. Services for Maggie will be posted in the near future.
