Matthew Brandon Rogers,37, passed away on June 16th,2023 in Kansas City, Missouri. Matt was born in Dalton, Georgia but later in life made Kansas City his home after serving in the United States Air Force. He was treasured by many for his deep love of music, he was always writing music or playing guitar or bass guitar. He had an amazing vibe about his soul that could bring people together with music, he was constantly starting up garage bands because with the magic of music friends could always become family. Whenever Matt wasn’t creating art through music, he could be found with a wrench in his hands, as he never lived without a bicycle or an instrument near to him. Matt had recently found a new love in his life in the mechanics of motorcycles and had begun a vast collection of different types of mesmerizing bicycle and motorcycles of all types. Matthew will be missed by all who’d known him especially at any time his loved ones see a tattoo as Matt’s body was a canvas of Art and memories that he had memorialized across his body. Matthew’s gifts, charm, music, and infectious smile will not be forgotten as his memories live on in the hearts of others.


Matt is survived by his number one. Love of his life, his son Asher Diffendaffer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma His mother, Donna Kile (Jeff) of Dalton, Georgia. His father, Billy Rogers, (Janet) of Ft Wayne Indiana. His sisters Jacqueline Rogers, Jessica Rogers of Ft Wayne Indiana His brother Nathan Herriman Jr. (Kaitlynn) of Dalton Georgia. Peyton Diffendaffer, the mother of Asher of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins of Dalton, Georgia. By his special family, Steven and Lori Shay brothers and sister Aaron Shay, Jimmy Shay, Lizzie Shay Williams all of Lee Summit, Missouri. Special Brothers Jerimy Warford of Merriam, Kansas, Daniel Hestand of Kansas City, Missouri, & Josh Buller of Kansas City, Missouri. As well as by many friends of Kansas City that were family to him.


Private services have been entrusted to Larkin & Garcia Funeral Care. Matthew's family and friends will be holding a memorial services that will be announced at a later date by the organizers.
