Norma Rivera was born on June 30, 1969 to Celerino Villa Hernandez and Maria Nicanor Cesario Villa in a small village in Michoacan, Mexico. She spent much of her youth with her grandparents, parents, and siblings before moving to the states at the age of 15.
In 1989, she married Angel Rivera and began raising 5 loving children by his side. She retired at an early age and dedicated her life to her family, work, and hobbies.
Norma was a very talented cook. Her greatest joy was preparing delicious meals and bringing her family together to share countless cherished memories. She also enjoyed knitting, painting, and writing songs to sing in church.
Norma was a very thoughtful and compassionate woman. She loved her family, friends, and pets with her whole heart. She was kind, generous with her time, and extremely thoughtful in everything that she did. She could make anyone feel comfortable and her kind soul left a mark on anyone that knew her.
Above all, Norma loved God. She converted to Christianity in 2001 and spent her life serving God. She loved to serve others and never closed her hand to help someone in need.
She is survived by her husband, Angel Rivera; parents, Celerino Villa and Maria Nicanor Villa; children, Heriberto Villa, Brenda Puebla, Diana Pirir, Angel Rivera, and Elisa Rivera; siblings, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and in- laws.
She will always be loved and missed!
