Services for Octavia Pedraza, 47, Kansas City, KS, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 8th, 2019 at All Saints Catholic Church in Kansas City, KS. Burial will be at Highland Park Cemetery. Octavia passed away Saturday, December 29th, 2018 in Kansas City, KS. She was born March 22nd, 1971, in Tamaulipas, MX, daughter of Damaso Pedraza Castillo and Maria Del Socorro Bernadac Solano. Octavia worked for the Olathe School district as a janitor and in her spare time she loved being with her family. Octavia was one of the nicest ladies one could ever meet. She was so loving, kind and most of all very generous; always giving back. She was known for her hospitality, but most of all for her very delicious tamales. Anyone who tasted them, loved them and were addicted. She will be greatly missed. Octavia is survived by her four daughters, Darcy J. Silva, KCK, Leslie Silva, KCK, Lilly Silva, KCK and Arely Maria Silva, KCK; two grandchildren, Aleah Silva and Lucy Ayala (Darcy), KCK; one sister, Patricia Pedraza, (Guillermo Carrasco), KCK; two nephews, Orlando Ramirez, KCK, Guillermo Carrasco Jr., KCK; one niece, Emily Carrasco, KCK; and many extended family.
