Ruben Hernandez III

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 13th, 2025, from 9:30am-10:30am at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church located at 7023 W. 71st St., Overland Park, KS 66204. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 10:30am. Burial will be at Mount Saint Mary’s Cemetery located at 2201 Cleveland Ave, Kansas City, MO 64127 at 12:15pm.

Ruben Hernandez III passed away on March 5th, 2025 in Kansas City, KS. He was born on December 20th, 1976 to Ruben Hernandez II and Elva Hernandez in Kansas City, Missouri.

Ruben III grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and graduated from J.C. Harmon High School in 1995. Ruben III enjoyed spending time with his friends. His favorite holiday to celebrate was the 4th of July. His memory will be carried on in the hearts of all of those that loved him.

Ruben III was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah Gonzalez Hernandez, Josefina Vargas-Reyes and Margarito Vargas; step-father, Gregorio Alvarez; aunt, Lucy; uncles, Hector & Chito.

He is survived by his parents, Ruben II & Elva Hernandez; siblings, Raymond, Christina, Sarah Hernandez and Chris Macias; children, Dominque, Gabby, Gia, Ruben IV, Breana and Valencia Hernandez.
