Sharon Poole

Sharon peacefully passed away at her home in rural Lawrence, KS on January 10, 2019. She was born in Topeka, KS on March 29, 1943 the daughter of Paul and Wilma Feyh (Jolly). Survivors are her daughter Kathy in Alabama; sister Virginia (Jim) Butler; brother Jim (Kathy) Feyh of Topeka; two grandsons; three nieces; four nephews and her last kitty cat Simon. Sharon was proceeded in death by her parents and brother Paul Feyh Jr. Sharon was raised up in Topeka, Ks and attended Seaman High School. Sharon worked many years for the Dillon's grocery store in the customer service department at several of the Lawrence locations. If you were greeted by her or happen to meet her you would remember her unmatched kindness. She loved to work and her most recent job was with RWD #3 in Berryton, Ks. She also loved spending time with her cats. Sharon had a huge heart for cats and would feed many stray cats all over Lawrence. She also enjoyed volunteering many hours at the Salvation Army in Topeka Kansas and while there helped start and run the children clothing closet. Sharon was a proud member of the Lecompton Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to Lecompton Methodist Church and Lawrence Humane Society. There will be a celebration of her life on March 29th at her home and will be announced again closer to that date. There are no services planned at this time.
