Virginia Guereca

Virginia (Ginny) Guereca, 76, passed away April 24, 2021. Born April 27, 1944 in Kansas City, KS to Joe and Epifania (Magdaleno) Guereca. She was a kind, loving soul who was cherished by her family and friends. She enjoyed spending her time around family, especially all of the babies of the family. She loved the outdoors and often volunteered her time to keep her street swept clean. Virginia was an active member of Bethel Neighborhood Center from the early 90s to the early 2000's. Virginia is survived by her brother, Joseph Guereca; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Frank Guereca, Joe Guereca, Jr., Josephine Guereca, Mary Louise (Guereca) Hernandez and Michael Guereca. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 5pm - 8pm with the rosary prayed at 6pm at Larkin and Garcia Funeral Home, 1844 Minnesota Avenue Kansas City, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11am at the Cathedral of Saint Peter, 409 N. 15th Street Kansas City, KS. burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, KCK.
